Cardiac Physiome

Join us for the 2013 Cardiac Physiome Workshop in Bar Harbor, Maine Oct 17-19th, 2013

The 2012 Cardiac Physiome Workshop will be held at the Catamaran Resort Hotel in San Diego, California  from October 30th to November 2nd, 2012, immediately before the Scientific Sessions of the American Heart Association  in Los Angeles. The meeting is being sponsored by the National Biomedical Computation Resource, and follows successful meetings in Oxford (2011), Cambridge (2009), Auckland (2008), Oxford (2006) and San Diego (2005). The workshop will focus on computational modeling in conjunction with experimental and clinical studies of cardiac physiology disease. Sessions will cover myocyte electrophysiology, myofilaments, excitation-contraction coupling, metabolic and regulatory networks, ventricular electromechanics, arrhythmia mechanisms, clinical imaging and patient-specific modeling. Sessions will be chaired by established leaders in the field, and we have three outstanding Plenary Lectures scheduled.

Online meeting registration and hotel reservations at the reduced meeting rate are now open. ADVANCE REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. We have negotiated an attractive room rate at the Catamaran Resort Hotel on San Diego's Mission Bay, where the meeting will be held. In addition to invited short talks, thegre will be ample time and spacious facilities devoted to poster sessions, and poster submissions will be welcomed and encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the best Graduate Student and Post-Doctoral Researcher posters. The workshop format is designed to encourage networking and informal interactions.

NEW! Extended Abstract Submission Deadline: September 21st, 2012 (Upload your abstract with your Online Registration. Microsoft Word Abstract Template)
